Goodbye my sweet little boy

We brought Sonny in to be put down this morning. In the last few days he went downhill quickly. He couldn't walk yesterday or today at all. He drank a little but wouldn't eat. He's at the bridge now with Pepper.

I'm very sorry to hear about Sonny.

It's such a tough decision, but now he's healthy and whole again at the Bridge.

Now he and Pepper are reunited and playing happily up at the Bridge. RIP sweet Sonny.

My family is crazy, or we really miss that cat. We can all still hear his collar and hear him meow occasionally. Especially near the basement door because that's where his litterbox was so he'd meow to get in/out. I haven't cleaned out his litter box or food dish yet, or picked up his toys at the bottom of the stairs where he'd knock them and they'd be stuck.

Actually, you are not at all crazy. We use to hear DJ (our Cocker Spaniel) clicking down the hall or his collar jingle after he passed. I have friends who have said the same things have happened to them. It's just Sonny's way of telling you hello and that he is okay.
