    my knee

I'm starting to have some problems with my artificial knee. It's starting to ache a little bit and it's somewhat stiff. After thanksgiving I'm going to make an appointment to see my orthopedic surgeon to find out what's happening with it. I'm very much hoping it doesn't mean some more surgery on my knee!

I was thinking you might be like the Tin Man (from the Wizard of Oz) and need your oil can, David. Hope everything will be ok. Maybe its the cooler weather that is getting to you.

Maybe it's the cooler weather causing a bit of arthritis in it? Hope the doctor can help you!

I bet that's what it is And I sure do hope that it's just one of those "muscle ~tendon' adjustments. Gosh, I'm sorry that you're experiencing discomfort right now.

Please let us know what your Orthpedic surgeon responds with.

And, Have a Great Thanksgiving too, David P

I am afraid David, I know little about a artifical knee. What I can say is that I torn my knee up bad falling like 10 feet to the ground off of a deck in construction. I had a torn meniscus ( spelling??), as well as a broken knee cap etc. I was 25. When I was 35, they had to repair this maniscus( sp?) eventhough I had not fallen etc, and didnt think I had reinjured myself. The sighs were locking knee, cramping in the knee when driving, and it would not bend..
I am not sure if any of this applies, but I feel for anyone with a knee injury..
