Drake's Going To Alabama

Well, Andrew asked me last night if he could have Draker come and visit for 2 weeks in Alabama. He misses him so much and talked with his landlord and asked if he could have a canine visitor and the landord said yes!

Draker will not like apartment living, but will be happy to spend some time with his dad. I on the other hand am heart broken....

I am going to miss the Draker boy so terribly much. But I understand that Andrew needs him too.

One thing you can be assured of, Souraya, is that your boy will get lots of attention from his dad!! But I know you will miss him. I'm glad you have your brother there to keep you company. You will need it!!!

I take Draker down to Alabama with me. But he always comes home after the weekend.

Andrew is spending the weekend in Georgia with us and will be taking our baby home with him But I will be down there the very next weekend and a trip to the beach has been planned. Draker will have so much fun! However, I will come home alone again till the 4th of July when Andrew and Draker come home.

The Army has a doggy and owner race planned on Thursday, June 27. My boys are signed up to do it together. It is a 6 mile run, 1 mile swim, and 3 mile bike. Andrew is excited and I am sure Draker will love it too! Wish I could be there to do it with them.

You are a wonderful momma to Drake and a fantastic wife to Andrew! I'm sure it will be hard to be without Drake for a couple of weeks but to place both of your boys happiness above your own is awesome! It shows true love!!!

And I can just imagine Draker all stretched out in blissful sleep after running such a grueling race with his daddy! What a beautiful mental picture!

WOW...that's some hike!! Try to get along without Drake, knowing that he's with Daddy and is being well taken care of. And you will see him from time to time during the time too. Good luck and you know we're always here when you need company.

Souraya, you forgot to mention Drake is a "SPOILED" GSD/Wolf hybrid! LOL I mean after all he has his wonderful family to spoil him and tons of aunts and a couple uncles on Pet Talk who love to hear how he gets spoiled!!! HEHEHE
