Need help with Pomerainans attitude?

My Aunts little Pomerainan tries to bite her when she leaves, and also attacks visitors, she is having trouble training him to be nice. He's only 1 year old. He seems to like me really well, and loves to play, I do stop and play with him alot when I am there, but my Aunt says he is totally different around other people....very protective when he doesn't have to be. Any suggestions as to training him to be more relaxed? or ...nice.?

Small dogs do tend to be more nippy than larger ones. What does your aunt do when the dog does these things?? One thing I know is that sometimes you think you're punishing them when in reality they see it as something good.

Like I said in the previous thread, I would call a professional trainer and see what he/she says.

Don't buy while shelter dogs die!!
