Today is my last day at my old job, start new one on Monday!

I should have posted about this earlier. I don't know why I didn't. Today is my last day here. I've been here for 7 years, but they can't afford to pay me what I'm worth, so I got a new job! The pay and benefits are awesome. I'm a bit sad today. There are a lot of people her that I'm close to and I won't see them much anymore. My new job is with a payroll company. I’m pretty excited about it and I hope to just some of my skills from my business degree.

Gina, I think she means it is her last day at her job, not at Pet Talk! At least I hope that is what you meant, Diana!!!! (have my fingers crossed on that one)

Good luck in your new position! Sometimes we just have to make those moves, even though it is very hard to make that decision!

Although you'll miss your current co-workers / friends, each job is a stepping stone for better things in your career! Using your skills at your new job sounds like a great step forward! Good luck!

I will. This is especially exciting/stressful because this is the only job I've ever had. I started here after high school straight through college and for 3 years after college. Yikes, I have to stop thinking about it!

Oops, that was worded a little bad. I meant my last day at my job. I am at my job right now so I said 'here'.

I do most of my postings at work, so I might not be on PT as much until I get the hang of things. I don't think my new job will let me be on like my old job does. Don't worry, I have internet access at home. I'm never leaving PT
