Do you have it?

I almost made this same poll lol. I don't have any right now but I think I'd like to get some for my crew someday. I don't really know how to go about it though.
You can search on the internet. At shelters here, when you adopt an animal, you get 6 weeks free pet insurance from Pet Plan, Canada's largest pet insurance company.
I'd really like to go with them, they look great. I'm just not sure what plan to choose!![]()

.
My gang of 4 have pet insurance. It's the basic plan for illnesses (routine shots not covered) and injury. It has come in handy. $100 deductable then it pays 80/20. Costs $46.48 a month total for all 4 furry kids. I get group rate for 3 (1 is 12.23 additional 2 are $11.01) Cindy has her own policy at $12.23 since she was the last to arrive. It averages to $1.54 a day. It costs more to smoke, eat, put gas in a car in a day/month. I dont do the smoke part anymore.
It's money well spent in my opinion. I've always had it from day one owning pets.
Owned by my 8 precious furry kids... My 3 daughters Cindy & Abby & Aly and 5 sons Skinny, Stephen, Carson, Fuzzmuzz and Franklin.
Owned by two special canine sons Coco and Snoopy and two canine daughters, Sadie and Gretchen

I have a savings account that money is automatically put into twice a month. So I forget about it. It isn't just an "emergency vet fund", its an "emergency pet food etc" fund.
I've looked into lots of insurance places, most will not cover stuff if it has already been diagnosed or treated by a vet. So Charlie will automatically not get medicine for his allergies if that's the case because he has ben to teh vet for that before. It's a nice comfort zone to fall back onto, but it is just not the right choice for us. I would be paying more money that I would probably (hopefully... lol) never see again whereas if I put money away into my own savings account then I KNOW the money is there, and I don't have to wait around on some company to MAYBE reimburse me the money months later, if they cover it at all.
Not for my rodentsMy cats Brando and Zsa-Zsa didn't have it, as when my parents first got them as kittens, pet insurance wasn't such a big thing. I'm pretty sure though that any future cats and dogs for us will be insured.
Yep, I doAnd I'm glad we do for my puppers.
