Great picture, Kirsten. It makes me feel like I'm there. We've get pet ducks, also, but none so beautiful as the Mallard. We've got 6 white and 1 black. I think the little black duck must feel like the Ugly Duckling, poor kid. I like her best of all, anyway. Rambling here, so er...yeah.

Hello I'm new to this site, but was wondering if anyone knows of sites where I can find information on caring for ducks and geese. Things like building them a good house for the winter. I live in spain and we have one goose, two white ducks and four chickens. They have a wooden house at the moment but they wont go in it since the really hot summer. They live in a large enclosure so all have pleny room, but I would love to get some better ideas on how to care for them properly.
