    Sad, Sad Day.....

Despite all of our efforts to save this seven week old baby...today she passed on. I just don't understand. She was gaining weight, eating well, drinking well, playing....and this morning we found her laying over her water bowl with her face against the bars of the cage, dead. I tried so hard. I really did. I feel so horrible. My poor Lil' Sunshine. At least now she is with her siblings at the Rainbow Bridge. We will miss you sweet Sunshine.

Oh NO - she was doing so well, and such a scamp! Tracy, I am SO sorry! It's double the heartbreak when a kitten is doing so well, and then just dies.

ANY idea what happened? Would the vet know?

I'm very sorry!!! I know she would have stayed with you, if she would have had a choice...

    RIP, little Sunshine!

I'm so very sorry, Tracy, it must have been dreadful for you finding her like that especially when you already thought of her as one of your own. You did absolutely everything you could to make her healthy and keep her alive, and she did have time to have a little fun with you. Are you wondering now if the mother cat did sense something was wrong with her kittens?

OH NO!!!!!!!! Not Sunshine! I am SO SORRY!!!! You did everything you could for her ... maybe it was that awful fading kitten syndrome.
