    Would you ever...

check someone else's email if you knew their password? I'm not talking about them asking you to check their email, I'm talking about sneaking around and poking in their personal email without them knowing.

Be honest now! I posted it as a poll just so you can remain anonymous if you would

Only if you were snooping to see what she's saying about you!

Actually I was only on to see pictures that my cousin sent, I felt extremely guilty the whole time though, I usually am not the snooping type. However, I shouldn't feel bad because she goes through my email ALL the time, not only does she snoop but she deletes things too!

Nope - not unless they gave me permission to do so.

I had an ex-boyfriend who used to hack into my email accounts, and record my chat logs etc. ... kinda leaves ya with bad taste in your mouth after you find out Thats mostly why i don't go into other peoples computers at all - i make it a habit of turning my head away when they're logging into the PC / Email / Etc. if i happen to be near someone else using a computer.

For me it depends on the situation.

My daughter's email-- You bet I'll check it and she'd better get used to it from day 1. She's only 17 months right now, so we have time.

My husbands's email-- No, he's an adult and I trust him.

No. I actually have passwords to many of my friend's accounts, and I haven't been in them except for when they needed help with something.

I like to look who is emailing my children. If I am not sure of the person, I look at it!!

Well, I voted other and was asked to explain. My answer is Never, and it's because I'm not interested. I have more than enough email of my own to cope with, I don't want to waste my time and eyes on a computer screen looking at someone else's. Mind you, I don't have children, and I can where parents would be tempted.

As far as I go is when someone in my family leaves themselves signed into their yahoo, so when I go to get on the internet it will have their 4 morst recent titles, I'll read the titles but only open it if it's something my mom would forward to me anyway, or if it's pictures.

I voted never, it makes me so angry when people try to look through my email or phone, so I could never even think about it.

At work, I check my friend's email when she is out of the office, and she does the same for me. Don't know if that really counts, since we give each other access, but even then, I only open the emails that are work related and although I have access all the time, i only check if she is on vacation.

I have looked at both parent's email, when they were having problems getting in, or weren't near a computer and were looking for something specific, and were on the phone asking me to do it. Not sure that counts either.
