Do you take your dogs for car rides?

Do you take your dogs for car rides?

No, not like going to the vets or the kennel or grooming. Like, a carride just for fun.

Sassy has arthritis and doesn't seem to enjoy walks much anymore so we decided to take her for carrides. Not daily but very often. When my sister has dance camp or something we take Sassy to go pick her up. She gets ALOT of attention from everyone. We also take her to Wawa, Wal-mart, and other places when someone is staying in the car of course. We take her anywhere close. She is REALLY good in the car to. She doesn't pee, cry, bark, and she is very curious about cars. She is sorta afraid of trucks and buses though.

I take Autumn to the bank where they always see her in the car and give her treats. We also go to Tom's drive in because she can get a cup of vanilla ice cream with dog treats on top. Sometimes if I'm moving my car just into or out of the driveway I'll let her in and go around the block. Autumn doesn't get too excited about the car though and is just as likely to turn down a car ride as she is to jump in.

Lady loves car rides, we can't even get by with spelling ride anymore, any mention of a ride and she's at the closet waiitng for her leash. (And waiting to play with whoever puts it on her)

The only time she doesn't like rides is if you go to the car wash. Those things EAT puppies!

Never. My dogs don't find car rides fun at all, they just get excited because they know when they're oing for a car ride that they're going to be able to run around and have fun or go visit other dogs or something. The actual ride bores Winston, Morgan & Tia and stresses Tango out.

its a big pain to load my 2 in the car, plus they both get very restless in the car, because they have figured out that if we are going in the car, we are going somewhere fun lol.. there really arent many places to take dogs around me, so they get to on short car rides to petsmart, to go hiking, the dog park and, to "aunties" (aka, doggie disneyland )

Yup, almost daily. I do a lot of running around and hate to drive alone, so I bring at least one pup most of the time. Both are great in the car. They have a special pillow they sleep on during car rides. =P

Yes. To the vet, friend's houses, dog parks, everywhere we can take them pretty much.

Yes, very very often we take Frisk for car rides. Even just driving around on back roads or to the river, he comes along. My parents even bring him along when picking me up from practice. He goes so many places with me.
