    Pics from Bretagne (France)

Finally I found time to resize, and upload my vacation pictures . Well, there were over 400 pics, so it was tough to decide.....

We went to "Bretagne"(Brittany) for 8 days. First we drove halfway to Etretat, just north of Normandy.
    The cliffs of Etretat

Next day, we drove all the way to the south of Brittany, to Vannes. There are some very lovely old medieval houses there

Then we did the complete southern coast, and part of the western side. The coast is very wild and rocky. Sometimes the view was breathtaking!! The small fishing harbours was so romantic.

this is me(lol, is obvious hey), and my hubby reading about Brittany

We both fell in love with the cute houses, loaded with flowers!

Brittany is also wellknown for it's Celtic history! Many years before Christ, the country was occupied by this ancient tribes, called the Celtic. They left behind lots of menhirs, dolmen and more of that. It is the same people who built Stonehenge in England. Some pics now

look at this field, full of menhirs!

Here are pics now of that wild coast :"La Côte Sauvage"

    more coming!!

Beautiful! You got such great weather too.

Do either of you do any painting? Like Monet At Etretat? Easier to take a photograph, than lug all of your artistic materials outside of course.

Miss Nicky makes for the prettiest view of all!
