Oh my gosh. what a horrible thing for that poor dog to go through. I am glad she has a loving home now. That is so sad.

That poor girl! Its quite obvious she was meant to live. I am glad they are also going to a more humane way of putting animals to sleep.

Those poor babies! CT Humane Society banned the gas chamber years ago. It's inhumane and should've been banned years ago.

I'm just glad that that poor baby has a home!

It made me feel physically ill to imagine what those poor creatures have had to endure, the terror and suffering so many have had to go through before their death . Thank God this little one survived and that changes are being made.

Are you kidding me?? I have never heard of a gas chamber to put pets to sleep. That is so sicking! Err I am glad that dog made is alive, and Amazing Grace what a perfect name for her!

I just posted a thread about this then deleted it ... I am not sure how I missed this before.

But I am crying over here for all the poor animals that are euthanized like that. I actually have no idea what my city shelter does for euthanasia, but I am going to find out now.

I thought that NC was the only state in the country where is was still legal? How sick. It seems like a slow painful death
