My guinea pig Nibbler went to the bridge today.. I had him outside under the shade while I was spraying out his cage.. No longer than 10 minutes and in the shade... like I normally do.. Well he started panting and ended up having a heat stroke.. soo we called the vet and they told us to wrap him up in a wet towel and lay him in the bathtub full of water.. Well, we did all that.. We had his front feet going, but his back half was paralyzed.. We thought maybe we could get him back to normal.. He was doing so good until and we thought we would make it, but his heart gave out on him..
ugh! I feel so bad.. but I mean My dad took off of work.. and my daddy and I spent 3 hours trying to get him better, but his little heart gave out on him.. and he took his last breath wrapped in a cozy towel on my lap... I felt him take his last breath and I just knew.. ugh!
It's so hard to lose a pet.
