You could put a mirror near him so all his fins blow up![]()
Or just keep waiting for that perfect shot I dont use mirrors cause I just thought of it lol so I have to just wait for that good shot and somtimes Ill use a stick not to touch them just to make them move to the other side.

use the flash and the macro setting on your camera.

I put my bettas in clear square containers and make sure the sides of the container are free of finger prints. I then place a lamp directly over the photo tank, set the camera to macro, and usually manually set the camera. Auto will work just fine too though. I usually put two containers beside each other so that both will flare but if I only have one, I just use a mirror.
