    Texas meeting on Sunday

So, it looks like this is actually going to happen! YAY! Not a large group, but, that's all right! Here are some of the activities we can do while you guys are in Plano.

    grill out at the house
go to the lake (which can include, but, doesn't have to...letting the dogs swim and play off-leash on virtually empty island/beach/grassy areas, swimming ourselves, tubing if we want)
go to the fenced in dog park (sectioned into small and big dog areas)
go to the open range, off-leash area (where there is a creek that runs through for the dogs to cool off in)

    So far...

adoremydogs...leslie & ricky (humans) and Graham, Kersey & Boone (dogs)
finn's mom...kari & david (humans) and finn, freckles & dudley (dogs)

Let me know if you're not listed and want to attend...and, if you are, let me know how many people and pets you're bringing, and, what activities you're interested in doing. I can maybe get a bit of an "itinerary" together.

Oooh cooking out/swimming/tubing sounds amazingly fun!!! I would just LOVE that! All my dogs are reliable off lead so I don't mind not going to a fenced in dog park. I am coming with my sweet husband, Ricky. We'll bring all 3 dogs, even tho Kersey gets car sick and i just got a new car

For me that's 2 humans and 3 dogs I'm so excited Sounds really fun! Is it this Sunday still then? As I said, it'll have to be after Boones obedience class so it'll be after 12 or 1. I'll PM you my cell# so you can call me if there are any changes.

    How fun!!!!!

le sigh, hubby has declared that this Sunday would not be good for us. Mostly because I sprung it on him just now.

The next TX or LA (possibly AR?) meeting that is being planned, we should probably be able to attend!

Aw, that stinks. We've been talking about it for a few weeks, now, but, yeah, just finally got people to agree on a day in the last week. Put together a Louisiana meeting, I'll be there! If you're really going to do one, I'll check out my schedule and post what weekends I can attend. And, hopefully, others will do the same! But, we'll definitely meet eventually!

That's awesome to hear, Logan, thank you! We have got to make sure that when I visit South Carolina, that a trip to your place happens! I hate that we missed out on meeting eachother!

Well, dang. We don't get rain here for over a month, and, now they're calling for 20% chance. They were even calling for thunderstorms yesterday, so, we decided it might be best to postpone this. Even though it'll probably end up being beautiful here, isn't that the way it goes? Leslie and I have talked on the phone though and we are definitely going to meet up! She sounds awesome! I can't wait to meet her **and** Helene!

Be sure to read my post just before yours. The weather ended up being perfect, so, David and I took our three out. But, the weather reports were bad, so, we postponed it.

No idea! I'm sure it would be on a weekend, though. If people want to start putting their availability on this thread or pm'ing me their preferences on times, areas, activities, etc...that would be cool! Or if anyone wants to plan something in their area, I'm up for that, too! There's no limit to how many meetings we can have! And, as long as it's within an hour or two drive, I'm willing to do it weekly!
