Woweee what a weekend, we had a Flyball competition yesterday it was a charity event so no prizes or ribbons, which is great . Clover ran amazingly she was sooooo nuts and nearly ran a new best time (PB still is 5.45sec's 3 years ago) well she ran a 5.5sec's , now that aint bad for a 7.5 year old dog of her build.

Now onto Elvis, he had been having some problems with getting scared at compettions and then refusing to run.... well this was his second comp with our new team and because he has been coming along so well the last couple of months we decided to try run him all day.

He was doing so well untill he got a small fright and did not want to run. But i was able to get him back and focussed, and running again. In the end he had one little scare for the whole day and ran like a trooper... i am so proud of my bubba.

Whilst all the fun and games were going on Tinny slept in her crate and was not fussed about not getting to play & was more than happy to come out for a walk and play between racing.

Rhi, if you are the Western Weiners, what am I gonna call the Sausage Dog flyball team? (Could you imagine everyone dying of laughter if a tribe of sausage monsters came out for their turn ... the jumps would have to be lowered to about an inch tall )

Erica we have been making our own harness's for the dogs. Is it the Blackdog wear harness's you mean? they are australian made. If so you can get them alot cheaper than that, and they are realy easy to make .

A lady here in Aus makes them aswell and sells them for $25 au, i will email here and see if she ships overseas. Clover and Elvis have had there's for nearly a year now and they are wearing great.

Yes, I was talking about the Blackdog harnesses. There is NOTHING like that anywhere in the US that I've seen! =/ I have no idea why, they look like awesome harnesses. Aus is obviously ahead of the states when it comes to Flyball! hehe. I love the rainbow coloring, too! They look really cool, I'd love to get 2. A few people on my team might want some, too, so I could split shipping with them.
