needs more potty training?

Sam won't go potty outside when there is bad weather, even when it's just raining. He made 2 mistakes today because it's raining and it will be for the next 4 days. He's wonderful otherwise and never potties in the house. It's very frustrating. He acts like he's going to die or something if he goes in the rain.

Nacey and Charlie are like that too, they HATE to go outside when it's raining. I've been think about getting something like this.

That's a neat idea, but my mom would never buy it just for the dogs. lol

Kodie refuses to go to the bathroom while its raining.He'll literally hold it until the rain stops .Lucys a good girl and goes out in the rain.
i dont have any suggestions for you. Maybe try walking outside with him?

Maggie is the same way; she will walk in the rain only when I force her to, then won't go potty, and will use the floor in the house when she gets inside, no matter how long I force her to walk in the rain. On the few occasions that she's done something while walking in the rain, I of course praise her, etc. but I don't think she notices...getting to go back in the house is the better reward to her She also refuses to go in tall grass, wet or dry...More mowing for my husband, I guess

Don't you wonder what goes on in there little brains? I suppose there isn't much of a way I can fix the problem.

I've found that walking helps. Marta will stay on the porch too when it's raining, she will hold it but I feel like she needs to go so I will walk her down the block and she forgets all about the rain. Vallis won't leave the porch even if the rain is stopped but it's muddy!!
