    Defrosting the freezer

Is anyone like me who leaves defrosting until there is enough ice to film an Ice Age production? Every time I promise myself never to leave it so long next time ... but I do. Oh, well, one down, one to go.

p.s. Bobby doesn't mind, he likes eating the ice clumps! (not all of them of course)

I'd always thought it was "normal" ice, because the ice forms from moisture in the air (from opening and closing the freezer door, etc) so unless you have toxins floating around in your house its safe

My dogs love eating it, too! Less mess for me to clean up!

    GUILTY here
Our freezer has 6 drawers; it usually gets defrosted when the drawers cannot be opened or closed anymore

LOL! Oh Chris, you're giving me a bad conscience now - I know exatcly what you mean! I say the same every time I defrost.

Remind me, within the next few weeks, I HAVE to do the fridge!
