    Do you do this, too?

I notice when I watch movies that when an animal, whether its a dog, cat, horse or any animal gets killed, I want to cry. I know it's just a movie.... the weird thing is that I rarely cry when people die in movies but do when animals die. Anyone else?

I hate it when that happens, especially when someone kills an animal in a movie! Even thought I know it didn't really happen.

Yeah.. it's all so sad. I just don't like the though of any animal being killed even if it's fake.

I always cry more in movies when an animal dies too. It's definiatly not that I don't like people are don't care that they die, I often cry when they die too, but not nearly as much or emotionally as when it's an animal. When Denny died on that mountain in Return to Snowy River I cried like a baby.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

At funerals, I never cry.. I don't know why. It's not like I try not to cry..

But sending Wolfie the bridge, I cried.. I don't know.

    It is weird.

When I went to see 8 Below, everytime it switched back to the dogs, I was literally BAWLING my eyes out.. say if it were people that were deserted, I wouldn't have cried when they were dieing off.

I sure do and have done it since I was a little kid. I've always been an animal lover.

I can't even watch animal movies, but if it's about people I don't even cry. Glad to know some other people feel that way because I was starting to feel like I was insensitive
Thanks so much Ashley for the siggy!

Lol...on the Lion King, I ALWAYS cried when Mufasa died. And on Homeward Bound, i ALWAYS cried when Shadow fell under the train tracks. I probably wouldn't cry if I saw those movies today though. Its not that hard to make me cry while watching a movie though. I don't know, its weird. I can cry over a LOT. Like if I think of something sad, and then think for a while I'll start to get teary and all. A lot of things do that, especially songs.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Most people just assume because I love animals I must also love watching movies about them. I don't.

I bawl like a baby when it comes to animals!
My husband doesn't let me watch Animal Cops becuase I cry so hard Buddy gets upset and paces all around the house (more than normal )
I have to wait till 8 Below comes out on DVD because I wouldn't be able to see it in a movie theater. (the peolpe would have to escort me out because of my uncontrollable bawling) Once I found out the entire story behind 8 Below, I knew that would be one I'd have to watch by myself.
My all time break down movie is Dances With Wolves. OMG!!!!

I'm not too much of a crying person but i get a lot more sad when i see animals die than humans. I remember one time i was watching one of those humane society shows and it was showing this little puppy they were putting down and i started crying. Those shows are so sad because i know it is actually real where as in movies i know its not real. Probably if i were to watch one of those shows i probably would start crying or come close to crying. Also when they show the puppies or dogs no one wants its so heartbreaking.

Same with me. It never happens with human videos, though. It's quite weird...
