Stupid question.....

I don't know why I just noticed this, but WHY do some of us have different colored dots by our names???

I've noticed my dot is red, then I've seen green dots, and grey/blue ones.

WHAT do they represent????? ................Just curious!

and this is NOT a stupid question.

I have never seen a red dot.

but green means you are online and grey you are not online or you're hidden. does that make sense?

I just noticed that now! Right now your dot is gray.

It just shows your online/offline/invis status. If it's red to you you are on but invisible to everyone else (they see your dot as grey, meaning offline). If it's green to you, it's green to everyone else and means you are online.

Thanks everyone! I don't know why I noticed it that day, but I did, and didn't know what it meant.....not that it was important or anything!

Yeah, I know "no question is stupid" but I felt really dumb asking about it!!
