Thought I'd answer questions in one reply. Schnapps shows up every morning and evening at the same time, so I'm assuming he is not an indoor cat if he does belong to anyone.
Do you think he or she likes other cats?
We’re not really sure since he hasn’t been exposed much to ours, but he doesn’t seem to mind the outdoor ferals/semi-ferals much at all.
K&L, do you know if he's micro-chipped?
Not yet, but we did think of that. We were waiting a bit to see if he still comes around. If he does then off to the vet he goes for the full routine.
Any uppydate on where he may have come from and if he has "owners?"
No, we sure don’t at this time. When he first came around he was a little street dirty on his legs and paws, and grease on his back. He was acting awfully hungry so we’re still not sure if he’s lost, abandoned, or just a moocher!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
