He is quite a fellow, if you don't let him in the house, he will bang on the window or just open the door himself. Basically he is a good boy!

I read the other thread about him, WOW, It's all so interesting!!! I would love to have a monkey!

I have more questions

Does he really play with toys? I mean would he put blocks together and things??

Does he comb his own fur??

Does he have a bed in his house? Does he get in and cover up like we would??

Does he make any sounds??

Can he draw/scribble if you give him a pen/marker??

Today Mario found a little mirror that belongs to one of the grandchildren, again. He loves that mirror, but loses it from time to time. He loves to look at himself in the mirror. I think if given blocks to play with, he would pick out his favorite and carry it around and use it to bang on things. LOL like the windows!

He grooms himself, and loves for us to comb or brush him. Most of the time he has a cover and then he carries it out to play with it and loses it, so we have to keep replacing it. He does like to cover himself up. You have to watch or he will have everything to be thought of carried into that little house. Things he steals, the theif!

Sometimes the sounds he makes are very happy little sounds that are just so sweet and like a very soothing sound, but if he gets upset, his scream will deafen you, it is so shrill!

And he like to play with pens, and pencils but like a child everything goes into his mouth. Its funny he wants to smell everything and when he meets some people he smells them and will lick them. I guess that is his way of saying hello.

Thats alright to ask questions, I'll try to answer the ones I know, LOL. He does something new everyday. I caught him and Grover in the hall with the door wide open and they were playing together yesterday. First time I have ever seen him play with Grover before. They both acted like they had been busted for doing something wrong, and Mario ran out the door, and Grover ran up the stairs. Me thinks they are plotting against me!

How did I not see this before now. If you only knew how bad I want a monkey and for how long. Not to long ago we where offered a monkey, but it didn't work out. We even built her an outside cage to play in. I wanted to cry when it didn't work out.

I'll make a deal with you, your grandaughter can come down here and play with my ducks and I get to come up there and play with Mario. He's just the cutest thing I've seen in awhile.

Boy, I wished you lived closer. I'd be at your door asking if you need a break from him for a short while. I promise I'll bring him back! LOL

Well if we lived next door to each other, Mario would probably be at your house as much as mine. Looking in your window at you, and if you didn't notice him, he would be pecking at the window, or just open the door and come in all by himself.

Then your cookies would disappear, food, toys. But yes he would be right there at your house too. I think he would have fun at your house!

Heck, I make him his own Monkey door, free to come in any time. Just as long as he stays out of the fish tanks. lol

I did have a pet door for my little ones and him, but a huge dog broke into our house, in other words he ate our house so he could sleep in our bathroom. Don't know what his problem was.

The funny thing is I used to own this Rottweiler and somebody stole him. He came back for a visit. What a visit! I don't have a pet door anymore.
