Flight Schedule For Boomers Mom :)

flight status Put 06 for Flight to Houston.

Put for flight # 2185 for Houston to Dayton, Ohio flight .

There is about 5 hr layover. I'm not having good luck with copy and paste . (Opera is user UNfriendly when it comes to that stuff).

Edited to say "layover" and not delay.

I didn't see anything about a delay. IS that the flight from Houston to Dayton that the delay affects?

Here is the most recent pic of the status I have.

I think they have a layover in houston, those airports can be fun, when we were on an 8 hour layover in england there was a mcdonalds and all kinds of stores in the airport.

I know all about the 8 hour layovers in London. Been there done that. They do have a lot to do there though. Lots of stores, internet, restaurants, videogames. And Heathrow is sooo huge anyway. Usually by the time you get through customs and get to the your departing terminal it has eaten up atleast 1 - 1 1/2 hours. I wouldn't want to do that long a layover again.

Sorry, meant to say "lay over" but it's a delay in fact they have to sit around for 5 hrs.

I'm hearing a report from CNN that the airport is a mad house. Allot of employees didnt show up today. People are trying to get flights out if you have carryon luggage that gets you out faster.

Well hopefully the airlines will successfully transfer their luggage. It probably helps that they are confined to the airport and not trying to get out of it.

It was a good plan to send Boomer on ahead. Can you imagine the stress of trying to get you, your mother-in-law, your baby boy , your cat and your luggage all on the same flight during hurricane warnings? Can't wait to see pictures of Dennis meeting his grandson.

Let's hope that their plane is full to begin with going to Dayton. CNN is saying that planes that arent full wont go until they are full. Mayor of Houston is saying "sufficient delays" at the airport. The TSA (security screeners) allot of them didnt show up for work today. Ticket counters are delayed too. What a freaken mess.
I will keep good thoughts that Missy, Tyler and Grandma dont have to worry about being delayed.
