    Round up the usual suspects.

I was in the kitchen preparing lunch (the way I cook... it was frozen pizza being shoved into the oven) and directly above me I hear paws running then a loud * bump *CRASH *

It sounded a bit larger than cat cat jumping off the bed. Nicki and I run up the steps to see this:

    My computer chair tipped over.

So who dunnit? These were the suspects found at the scene of the crime:
Allen - the fat cat who is heavy enough to tip it over
Pouncer - the kitten who has enough energy to propel it over
    or
(this one's a shocking suspect) Dudley - Nicki's favorite stuffed duck.

    These pictures crack me up!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Boy, never a dull moment at your house, eh?

I think it has to be Dudley the duck! Pouncer looks too confused, and the tail straight up in the air is a dead giveaway to his innocence. Allen is much too sweet to be causing such havoc, so that means it's got to be Dudley - by default.

Dudley - in the computer room - with the chair....according to the clues I'm getting.

I must say I actually Laughed out Loud when I saw this. I'm laying odds that the duck did it...you know those ducks are.

It must have been the duck. Ducks are clumsy, cats are not

A cat would have run away if they tipped over a chair... ducks aren't that smart! It MUST have been the duck!

Oh no! The cops came and took Dudley away for questioning! Then they CHARGED him with the crime.

Nicki swears he's innocenet - she knows him better than anyone, but he's not talking. The cats are currently resting as if nothing happened.

Bad duck! Bad duck! Just for that, you're going to be given to the dog as a chew toy!

    LOL LOL LOL

Just saw the mug shot. Now THAT'S the face of a hardened criminal. So unlike those sweet, adorable, utterly innocent cat faces.

I agree! I love the ruler. Catnapper, I think maybe you've been watching too many cop shows lately.

I agree, it must have been the duck, but he's so cute I feel bad for him being booked and all. Maybe since it's his first offence the judge will let him off with a slap on the beak. Especially since there's no hard evidence against him, and he does have a fantastic character witness.
