What beautiful pictures of our very own Pet Talk detective! Yes, Edwina is just biding her time until she can catch her culprit in the act!

Sara, how does the harness work out for you? It looks as though Edwina doesn't mind it. I have had to make Rascal an indoor kitty only because he was getting into so many fights. But he is a very sad boy. The harness might be the answer - but he hated collars - so I am not sure!

  2. Gini - She tolerates the harness. She knows it is the only way to get to go outside. She does not like it and will walk with a limp if she thinks of it. Most of the time she forgets to be dramatic and it is just there. It is very hard for her to get out of on her own (unlike a regular harness.) I have a bell and a leash on it so I can drag her out of the bushes, find her if she is hiding in the yard, and the birds can hear her coming! (Our yard is fenced.) It did take some getting used to for her. Now once in a while she will even let me "walk" her on it!

Here's where I got it. Cat Walking Jacket http://www.hdw-inc.com/frameset.htm.

By the way...sasvermont was going to get a couple (guess it would be three now. ) How are they working out?

    The collars!

Well, I sent away for two and ended up giving one to a neighbor, and her cat is fine with it. I put one on Graemer, and he didn't mind it. I haven't had the time to take Graemer outside and experiment with him/it. And now that I have Gabe around too, it seems as though I might wait until things settle down inside before I take Graemer outside. I am sure he will be like a wild animal outside, trying to run all over the place. He has escaped a couple of times and is IMPOSSIBLE to catch. He has no fear of cars etc. He just runs. So If I do let him out on the leash with his new collar/harness, I will probably wait awhile and then tie him to my waist so he doesn't take off!

I think the harnesses are made nicely, seem comfortable and are.....attractive! Of course!

I know *exactly* what you mean. Peanut is not so bad, but black Tubby hair is EVERYWHERE these days. All I have to do is pet him and a whole handful goes flying. I could brush him 24 hours a day and he would still be shedding when I got done.

Lut, click on the link again, and look below and it will give you the main link to click on - and then you are into the site.

A very funny idea - what would our cats do if they could have a harness and a leash for us?

Lut - You're right. I got the same message which is strange since I used the copy functions

Here it is again. The name of the company is HDW Enterprises and the harnesses do come in sizes!
