Snowy Denver ZOO! [30]

pictures from lovely chilly zoo! I've seen different ZOOs all my life but never in snow and loved it! so different, all environmentally white & snowy animals.

(to some, 'caged' pictures, forgive me) -

enterance..

first animal, giggly hyena

the shy fox!

spotted jaguar, he was too cold to stay outside. . .

four awesome cuddly snowtigers..

sleepy siberian tiger..

some peacocks! you get to see them walking around beautifully everywhere..

and another zoo roaming-free animal.. hoppies! (of course, I thought of you, miss hoppy!)

icy pond, ducks & a swan!

a sweet poor polar bear..

aren't you feeling too cold yet...

curious arctic foxes.. cute!

inside tropical buliding -- an alligator!

busy alligator snapper..

baby pondering giraffes, aw..

and their long-eyelashed mother above me saying hello!

dromedary (two humps) camels.. the bactrain (one hump) camels are on the other side, sleeping?

vivid red (lesser) panda walking around, up and down..

and of course..zebras! they are especially pretty in snow!

then saw the one just right below me! scared me for a moment..

once he saw me looking at him, he jumped over the tree!

a big 0-MPH leap!

yup, a cheetah. I'm sure he can jump over the fence if he could go 75MPH.

and next to that who he was watching.. wild african dog - loved the tricolors!

big soft mountain goats..

close up of fluffy adorableness..

hungry brown bear - no snow - melted by time I got to the end of the ZOO..

lonely africa elfa - I was trying to photographing an indoor hippo across him and turned around to that "come to me please" waiting sweet face!

a pointless photo but thought bathroom was cute!

(baboon, zebra, tiger, gazelle, rhino & peacock)..

my comp only showed like half the pics

but the ones i saw where great i just love animals and it was great you showed some to us, and shared yor experience.

I got freaked cause when i saw the waterfall i actually got shivers !!!!

*edit* i just saw the whole set of pics, GREAT!!!!

GREAT pics, Gina!! I always love visits to a zoo!! When my kids were still young, we once visited the Antwerp Zoo in the snow. It was beautiful!! But..... COLD

This makes me wanna go to the Knoxville Zoo!!! I only went once when I was like 3, and I barely even remember it! I loooove all the pics, and the bathrooms are adorable!
