Hope that cute l'il paw feels better soon! I'm amazed he leaves the bandage on- Star ends up wearing one of those charming E-collars when she needs to stay bandaged!

Peej is really cute in his pink bandage! I hope his boo boo is fixed with as little discomfort as possible. Please give him a hug for me! I'll be thinking of him tomorrow.

    Thank you everyone.

I'm always such a baby when it comes to things like this. Of course, he's an even bigger baby. Now, he holds up his bandaged boo boo foot for me to see everytime I talk to him.

Peej's doctor just called. he's finished and still really groggy, but everything went well and I can pick him up in an hour! (Peej, not the doctor. )

He also needs to see the doggy dentist.

Here's his "after" picture. Doesn't he look pathetic?

The bandage needs to stay on for a week at least and the stitches will be in for around 6 weeks. I also had the "boo boo" sent to the lab to make sure it was nothing more than a skin tag. We get the results from that in about a week.

Oh you poor little boy. Kisses PeeJ. We love you. You'll feel much better with that nasty old tag off your cute little paw. And please don't try and chew at your paw, leave it alone so it can get better faster.

We have to go back to the doctor in an hour. Peej isn't putting any weight at all on his foot now and he should be.

I'm hoping he's just being over-dramatic. (which he's known for doing) The doctor wants to see him to make sure the bandage isn't on too tight and that the "boo boo" is healing nicely.

So after making me worry, Peej walks into the vets office like he doesn't have a care in the world. I felt so stupid for worrying about him. The doc took a look at his leg and said he was just being a baby. I have to give him a pain pill today and by tomorrow he shouldn't need another.

Thanks for all the good wishes. I'll get more pics of him up as soon as I can get him groomed again. Right now he's scuzzy.

Oh poor boo boo foot baby PeeJ. I'm so sorry you had to go to the vet to have your foot taken care of I bet you just hate that new bandage don't you? Would have been better if they had given you another bright pink one wouldn't it
I hope your foot heals superfast and you can have that thing off in no time!

Sorry I didn't see this thread before

Oh, Peej, this picture is priceless. Tucker is using it to improve his Woe Is Me scores.

But really I do sympathize with you, little one. Life can be a challenge when one of the legs is involved, right? You be a good boy and soon this episode will just be a distant memory.
