I was going to reply to this thread sooner, but I didn't know what to say. I still don't.

When I first discovered PT, as a lurker, Angus was the first dog I 'met' and fell in love with. I loved seeing pictures of his sweet face and hearing stories about what he and his sisters were getting upto. He seemed like such a laid back, loving guy, even my Mom (who is terrified of Rotties after being attacked by one as a kid) said how handsome he was!

When I heard Angus was gone, I couldn't stop crying. It feels like I've lost one of my own babies. But I'm so honoured to have had the chance to 'meet' him and get to know him. His personality was such that it carried across the thousands of miles between computer screens, I really feel I knew him, and seeing his pictures and hearing his stories was like being there with him. Pet Talk won't be the same without Angus, and no-one here will ever forget him.

Anna - I'm so sorry for your loss. Try to remember all the good times you had with this beautiful boy. He is now running, pain free, at the Rainbow Bridge, with his sister Keisha. I'm sure he's watching over you, Mark and the girls. Take as much time away from PT as you need, we understand.

    RIP Angus, we love you.

Please understand my absence here at PT. I will be looking in but I just can't bring myself to make a post, as making this one seems the hardest of all.

Pet Talk will just not be the same for me. I feel as if I don't know how to go on. And my sweet hubby, oh god how hard it is for him too And the girls, I just don't think they understand either. What will we ever do without him?????
Oh Anna, I was very surprised to see your post.

We all definatly understand your absense, and will miss your posts, but I understand that your not ready.

I also know what you mean about PT not being the same, it already feels as if its not the same to me.

Also your not without him, you'll never be without him! He'll always be with you, and us! And like I told you--you, Mark and the girls have a very special guardian angel watching over you!

The only thing that helps make this a little easier, is time.

    More {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, Anna!

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.
RIP Tigger...I miss you every single day.

    Dearest Anna~

Please take as much time as you need to grieve for your beloved boy.
I can't even imagine how you feel, as I am having a bit of trouble viewing Pet Talk the same--I feel as though I have lost one of my own.
Please know we are all here for you whenever you are ready, and we love you and your family.

I haven't been able to post anything until now because I haven't known what to say. My heart aches for you.

Bassett liked dogs, so maybe she and Angus can become good buddies.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Angus.

Oh Anna, I am so sorry. I don't even know what to say. I will always remember your sweet boy. I haven't been on PT for the last several days and I just found this. I started crying as soon as I read it.

    Anna and Mark,

I know you are going through such horrible pain and I'm so very sorry. Angus had twelve wonderful years with your family and you will always have those special memories. We are all here for you during this trying time and only wish we could do more.

RIP always, sweet Angus. You are so very missed!

Anna, i am so sorry for your great loss. I hope my big boy Dale, can grow up to be the sweet boy that your big boy, Angus was...i thought up a little poem for you...maybe this is what Angus is thinking now:

    Worry not, Mama;
    for I am doing okay.
    I've met some friends,
    and played a bunch.
    I've laughed along the way.

    Try not to be sad;
    for I am safe,
    healthy and happy too.
The spirit that I had on earth,
    was all because of you.

    I've brought it here,
    with me today,
    to share with those,
    less fortunate.
I share that love that you gave me,
and touched their lives because of it.

Without you, I may have been,
    a sad and lonely boy.
But you gave me the gift of love,
and filled me with such joy!

So I will carry that within my soul,
    and each and every day,
I will think of you with love,
and your spirit will guide my way.

One day we will meet again,
in those great big clouds of white.
I will welcome you with open arms,
and we'll run and play 'til night.

But until that day approaches us,
    and time passes on,
    remember me with happiness,
and know that my spirit lives on!

    ~Robyn

((((HUGS)))) to you and your family. And lots of happy thoughts and memories of your sweet big boy Angus.
