Just to let ya'll know what she went through. She was living with an alcoholic son of a mom (who for some reason thought he'd be O.K) who went into assisited living situation. Her son did keep a day job, but would take Peanut out of her pee soaked crate for a walk in the A.M & P.M. Then he'd get his case of beer, and proceed to get totally intoxicated. Her former owner lived in a rooming house where she actually was not allowed to top it off. Someone ratted him out, and Peanut lucked out! He asked my friend Pat to find a foster home for her, and that was me! She came to me reeking of human urine, and had no fur on her head or lower extremities! Needless to say, there was no way after seeing her, that she would ever be a foster for him. A month later the rooming house had a fire, and If it wasn't for fate, Peanut most likely would have died of smoke inhalation. I'm glad I had the chance to have her in my life! But wish it had been sooner!
