No age requirement, Reno! Everyone knows kittens have pretty strong voices! Rascal, your meow looks mighty good! Were getting a great team of meowers here!

Juni enters another pose for the balancing act

Juni thought this move was worthy of our attentions:

It is considered to be one of the more difficult moves - it is call the "hanging clothes tree" move.

Juni and Lily, have you met Mango? Too bad you don't all live in the same country because you could be quite a team of Acrobats!!!!

    This is priceless:

uh oh, I just thought of something! Better lock up the catnip... we would not want anyone thrown out for not coming up clean after being tested

I am just loving this thread!!!!
The other teams aren't going to know what hit them when all of these PT kitties start competing!!!!!!
I've been closely watching the competition--the German synchronized sleeping team is going to get the gold!!!!!!

**PS--I stole this idea and started a thread for doggie olympics in dog general, I hope no one minds**

    Keep them coming!!!

I wrote this a while back for the haiku thread.....
    -------------------------------------------------------
    Some days I'm treated
to the greatest show on earth
    watching my cat play

    An Olympic cat
    The balance beam, sprints measured
    in rooms, not feet

    On your mark, get set-
    a crouch explodes into speed
    room to room to room

    Finish line in sight
    across the line, breaking tape
    a world class time

    A marathon scratch???
    walking cat rear, balance-walks
    across the sofa back

    A long jump across
from arm chair to bed mattress
    what extension, form!

    a rhythmic gymnast
a stretching leg, an arched back-
    a judge's score here?

    I can judge my cat
    on ability and grace
    and his love for me

    but in one event
my cat wins a gold medal
    is napping a sport?

I think Germany's chances in synchronized sleeping are very high but we have no chance against the strong US Meowing team

Richard, in old Greece poetry was an olympic discipline

  15. The E's plan on entering the new event....sychronized sitting!
