What a great Christmas present!!! I hope this doesn't mean that you won't be talking to us anymore Julie. I'm sure glad to hear about Hope's recovery. I would love to see it when she goes outside to play with her buddies.

What a sweet, brave dog Hope is, I'm so happy she is finally going to have that wonderful life that she deserves, thanks to you. She is one of our doggie angels on earth. It has to be so wonderful to be able to see her go out and play after all she has been through and you too. Hugs and kisses to her from Daisy, Perry and me.

HAPPY HOWLIDAYS!! Hope saw the Dr. on Wednesday and no longer has to wear her "lampshade". She is now free to be a real dog and have the life of leasure!!! I consider this Christmas Hope's first Christmas so it will be very special. Every day I look at her and still cannot believe she made it through everything. I actually found a toy she likes-a stuffed hedgehog! It is the greatest joy to see her playing with a toy. It has been a long haul and again I thank each and every one of you for all of your support!!! I wish all of you a very happy and safe holiday season!!! I promise to get pictures of Hope's first Christmas for all to see.![]()

I can't wait to see pics of Hope during her "first Christmas". What a blessing she is, and what a blessing you are too, Julie. Thank you for rescuing her, and thank you for sharing the whole wonderful story with us...we can never get too many "happy ending" stories![]()
Oh yeah Julie!!! I, too, am looking forward to pictures of Christmas. This is the time of year to make sure I thank you again for being there and sticking with Hope through all of this.
Hey...you have some definite catching up to do too girl...we have 15 right now (although we are trying to find a home for the one I got last night and am still trying to get the 2nd dog that was with him).
Cudos again for your work with Hope and I know you will be rewarded thousands of times over. Keep in touch and have great holiday with Hope and the rest of your tribe.

This was kind of a bittersweet Christmas as we still miss Max a lot but we had Hope to see all the wonders and sights of Christmas. The flashing Christmas lights were intimidating to her at first but once we got her to go to the tree and see that is was okay she was fine. In fact, some of the ornaments interested her quite a lot as they were stuffed ornaments! Her first Christmas present was sent to her by a wonderful, caring person, Ginny. Hope loves the Christmas bear she sent and sleeps with it. There was a lot of excitement around the house that Hope was not quite used to but she eventually settled down. Of course, there were the Christmas treats for her but she could not have too many because of her diabetes but she did thoroughly enjoyed the ones she had!! I have pictures but I am having trouble getting them on here for all of you to see. Can someone give me some directions on how to post them? Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday and Happy New Year!![]()
Julie, I'm so glad to hear Hope is well and had a wonderful Christmas with people who love her! I just learned how to post pics myself but I just saw a link to the directions under the "Guess What?" post under today's 12/28 topics. If noone else posts directions before you get this you can go there and click on the link. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I'm not much of a computer whiz compared to some of the others here but I happened upon your update first must be... Happy New Year!
