    Bassett in for another xray

    Bassett's breathing wasn't right the past couple of days, so I made an appointment and they are giving her an xray and a possible chest drain today. I'm not too worried about it right yet, as it's been months since she's needed a draining. I have to call the vet in about 20 mins for an update, so I will let you know how it goes

    I just called the vet. There is some fluid they need to remove, so I have to call again around 5pm (it's around 3:30pm right now). I will keep you posted.

    Will be thinking of Bassett and hoping they don't need to remove too much fluid. Your vet team sounds fantastic and caring and I'm sure they're taking good care of her.

    We just got home. They got 160mL of fluid. Poor Bassett She's sitting cleaning herself off under the dining room table now... hehe.. anyway, she's doing well and I will keep a close watch on her as always. This is the first draining she's needed in a long time.. a few months.. so overall she's doing alright.

    Even though it is too bad that she needed to go in to have a draining, I am glad that all went well. Give her some extra kisses from me (even if she gives the attitude!)

    I'm sorry that Bassett had to have another chest drain, but I am glad she is doing better now. She is lucky to have you to take such good care of her.
