Well, this time tomorrow morning, I'll be in a jet plane to LA LA LAND.

Corinna, yes Richard in pantyhose does flare up some images. He'd probably put it on his head and pretend they are pigtails.

Gini, see you tomorrow and I'll see the rest of you at the BBQ. Please everyone....have a safe trip and we should all post a "check in" when we arrive.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Time to rev up the Official BBQ Thread....

    The planning is almost over.

The police and SWAT have been notified and the neighbors.....
Well, they won't know what hit them!

Lut, I'm sure that can be arranged as I would love to "speak" to you. Don't know what Gini has but MSN is very easy to use and I'm sure she wouldn't mind if we installed it. We can uninstall it afterwards if she wants.

Well, I've just spent the last bit of time packing and I've got it down to two check-in bags and one carry-on. Why do I always pack more than I really need?? I'm actually so excited now that I've lost my appetite and my stomach is doing rolly pollies.

Richard, does this mean we may have a visit from those hot Police Occifers??? Be still my heart.

    Oh my...

My plane leaves at 8.35am CST --

It's a 2hr drive to the airport... and I'm an hr behind CST... so that means I have to leave my house no later than 5am ... which means I have to get up at least by 4am...

If I pass out about mid-day on Thursday, please just step over me!

We're not leaving here until Friday morning. I think we decided on leaving here at 6 a.m. which should put us in L.A. at around 2.
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

Oh, great! So I am picking up a pink and sparkly cat at the airport!

"that's alright, occifer, we are taking her directly to the institution now!"

    I don't "do" 4:30 AM very well.

Afternoon naps for visitors are perfectly acceptable as the evening promises to be a hoot.........Richard, Laurie, Slick, Tonya and Gini all together under one roof.

Yeah, we just sit and stare at each other........"so, hows things going?"

    Right!

    MOFF, that was last year..........
No cats at the airport this year, I promise!

Logan, I so wish you could be there.

Maybe you could preview some of those cat slide shows that we're going to be seeing to make sure there's nothing too obscene.....

Oooohhhh to have a webcam...... Kind of being like a mouse in the corner or a fly on the wall.....
