OMD - that makes it sound so close......EEEEEEEKKKKKKKK!!!! I've got my supply of "depends" ready....
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Just a suggestion for others looking to book flights....I received a tip last night about booking flights through BCAA (same as your AAA) and low and behold I can get a return flight for $311.58 Canadian Funds including all taxes !!! That's over $100 savings from what I paid last year. Things are looking up, indeed.

    Slick,

    Check out www.cheaprooms.com.

I found a room for the 16th at the Radisson for $119/night ($144.25 canadian). I know that's pricey, but I bet when it gets closer, it'll go down.

I'm off to find more deals! I'll let you know if I find anymore.

Aly, the Rad is a 3-star hotel in a safe neighbourhood and yes, a little pricey but my safety is worth it. Besides, it's only a 10 min. drive to "slushy bar" in Gini's back yard.

Thanks for the link, Sis. I'll keep an eye on it. I probably won't book anything until we decide on Dizzyland.

I really think that prices will INCREASE as the time gets closer, not the other way around. As demand increases, the prices go up. My parents manage a hotel, and one of my good friends owns a travel agency, and you will typically find better deals ahead of time.

    Hey,

I was talking to Tonya and Stacy last night. We were thinking of doing Disneyland on Sunday...then hanging out on Monday...maybe at downtown Disney, maybe at the hotel down there...maybe get our tattoos...go shopping.

So....BBQ Saturday, Disneyland Sunday...free for all Monday?

I think Alexa and I are going to spend both Sunday and Monday at Disneyland because I've never been to California Adventure and I think trying to hit both parks in one day would be too much.

For those of you that are getting into town early I think Alexa and I are planning on going to GirlBar Friday night in LA. LOL I know we'll be the only ones enjoying the go go dancers. But if anyone wants to come have a few drinks and dance and just have a good time you are more than welcome to.
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

I'm thinking we should start on Thursday night and just carry right on over into Friday night...
Laura, nice idea but I'm too old for the bar scene.

Ask slick about what happened on the night she was picked up from the airport (CA BBQ 2004) and was sittting in the bar of her hotel.

The bartender came over to the table where we were at and yelled at us....

    I CLOSE THE BAR!!!!
