Nomi, I really want to stay at the Rad again, but I checked the prices last night and they are booking for July at $236.00/night. Last year I was able to get a room for $100.00 but that was in May.

If their prices don't come down in the next couple of months, then you just might have a roomie...either that or I bunk in Gini's backyard office....

It's just too early to tell right now.
I'm starting to wonder if I go if anyone will talk to me!

L4M: It deeply disturbs me that you would even think this way. Where is this coming from?

A lot of times hotels will drop their prices as time gets closer. At this point they don't know if they're going to be busy that weekend or not, so they keep the prices high. As time gets closer and they're still half empty, they will start to drop their prices. Just keep an eye on the prices and check out some of those online hotel bookers. Can't think of any of the top of my head, but I remember we got a $75.00 room for $40.00 one year on our way to Colorado. hotels.com maybe?

Is it time to start whitening my teeth again??? Oh dear, and I need new shoes as well.....

Hey Laurie, thanks for the memories. My Dad used to say that all the time when I was growing up.

    Sara, will this do????

    Or, perhaps this????

I think I had better change this whole event to AN AFTERNOON TEA!

    Hats, gloves, dresses........required

But somehow, the Third Annual Pet Talk Tea doesn't sound quite right, does it?

Ditto! I don't mind dresses, it just those nasty "hose" I can't stand.

Oh, but I will shave my legs, and if I get a bit of a tan, they're not that bad.....
