I haven't really committed to this YET, but I DO want to go. Where is everyone staying? When are y'all arriving? Would be willing to share a room .... Nomi?

You've got my vote for: "This is your brain .... this is your brain on PT", but what would it look like? Something one would find in the litterbox?

A PT Tea? That's right up my alley!!

I'm shocked and surprised you didn't like the Flamingo cups...too funny! When Karen sent me the link I told her she HAD to post it here too. Aren't they so funny??

I agree with the others, there's so much talking, NO ONE could feel left out.

    Slick,
I checked www.hotels.com and the rate on there is $159.00/night for a single room. I bet if you wait, it'll come down some more.

Only IF he shaves his legs.......

Kelly, thanks but that's probably "amrrrrrican" dollars. Don't forget the exchange rate. That $236 was canuck bucks through expedia.ca. I'll be careful to comparison shop before I book.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    Doh! I forgot, I'm sorry.

I'll be crossing my fingers for a good rate closer to the BBQ.

I don't think you'll have to worry about that! Alexa is nervous because she won't know anyone other than me! At least you know us But I assured her that everyone is friendly and will make her feel comfortable and that she'll have a blast.

I HAVE to have that brain mold if not for the BBQ then for my household. This is going to be a "be-in happening" if there ever was one. Gini, I suggest YOU suggest this will be a purrfect time for your neighbors to go on vacation stranger than fiction!

    Hotels

The hotel Alexa and I are staying at is called the Alamo Inn & Suites. I've stayed there once before, it's not great but it's not horrible either. It's a 2 star hotel, so about as nice as a Motel 6. Keep in mind Alexa and I are young so we like to travel VERY cheaply. As long as it's safe, we have cable, a shower and a bed I'm pretty happy. The room cost us $50 a night and it's within walking distance of Disneyland.

I can't even afford $50/night. I can get a hotel for that rate too, at a Comfort Inn, but I would still need to share.

I don't want to say it outloud, but I might not be able to go at all

I keep looking at this thread in hopes that you have found a roomie Naomi. It's still a while away, so I hope things work out. I'm going to be sad if you aren't there.
