    Marquee

One of my dearest friends had to make the difficult decision to help her dog Marquee to the Bridge last night. He was an aussie mix and just shy of his 20th birthday. She'd had him since he was a pup so this was especially hard for her. He had arthritis, was deaf and blind but was still healthy, happy and would even play with her kids up until this last week. This last week, however he stopped playing and was barely eating. Last night when she got home from work she found him unable to stand. She sat with him for a couple of hours petting him and feeding him treats, let her oldest daughter say goodbye, and then made the difficult decision to help him to the Bridge. He was a special boy and loved everyone and everything. So please wish him a safe journey.

I'm so sorry for your friend. I think she made the right decision, and nearly 20 years old -- that sweet doggie had a long and wonderful life !!! RIP Marquee.

I have no doubts such a wonderful doggie made his trip to the Bridge, swiftly and safely. For sure he is very proud of his angel wings. God Bless you dear Marquee. Oh, to know the love of precious pup such as you for 20 years. How very blessed was your family to have had a such a special friend like you. And one day, sometime in the distant future, you and your famiy will be together once more, so wait patiently there for them, sweethearet. My deepest sympathies to the family of Marquee on their great loss. He may be gone from this earth but I know his love lives on in your hearts.
    Love, Sandra

Sorry to be just now seeing this but I do hope that your friend is doing alright.
Although 20 years is long, it's just never long enough is it.

Please give your friend my heartfelt condolences.

Huney, Bon & Simba-missed so very much
