3 Cats Need Temporary Foster Homes

Hi,

I have never posted on the Cat board before, but am a regular on dog board.

A coworker's sister has 3 cats that need a temporary foster home (1 Female and 2 Males all fixed). She is having some problems and will not be able to care for the cats for approx. 3 months. She lives here in Gainesville, GA, but we are willing to transport to anywhere in the state or neighboring states.

I will have more information tomorrow and possibly pictures.

Please PM me if you have any ideas.

I would offer to help, but we have a house with 4 cats & 4 dogs now. Its at the pet limit for now.

I still haven't heard any more information on the cats from the lady. I will try and call her and see what the deal is.

OK. I have more news on the cats.

There are actually 4 cats and one is pregnant! She found the kitty pregnant outside her house!

1. Dokster Man: 10 mo. Male (not yet neutured)
2. Sassy Frass: 10 mo. Pregnant Female (not yet spayed)
3. Lil Bit: spayed female (age unknown)
4. Bow Boy: neutured male (age unknown)

I have pictures but will post them in a little bit.

Chuck, I have tried several places around the community but haven't been able to find anyone who wants to foster the cats. I was planning on checking out PetFinder.com sometime today.

Chuck, I had already checked with Humane Society in Gainesville (where I volunteer), Lawrenceville, Cumming, and a few other locals. The said that the cat would be put down coz they are not staffed to care for the kittens and that they are swamped since it is kitten season. If the cat is brought in after she has delivered the kittens, then they will take her and the babies in.

i was wondering if you could find out what service she wuold use and idea of what they charge?as i have two kitties i am trying to get for my sons bus driver, but kitties are in rich ,mo. and we are in barnhart ,mo without me having to drive the whole
way there,i could even settle for delivery to osage beach or jefferson city, 1/2 way ,thanks, transport kitties, [i would be happy to foster her kitties but i am very full at this time, how ever i will be going through georgia in aug,on my way to florida , if i can be of any help moving her kitties , when is she gouing to need a foster home ?
