    **Photo Cloning**

Everyones got sig making threads up now, and I wouldn't get any business if I put one up, so I thought I'd start a cloning thread.

Cloning is when you photoshop an image to take out a certain object. I can do leashes, people, trees, cars, anything.

I have posted an example in Jessica's thread about her trip to the Quarry.

    Any requests will be taken.

I have attached a picture that I have take a leash out of. The original is in Jessica's Quarry thread.

Hey, you can do another of mine if you like. These leashes are their old clunky ones plus they are muddy and dirty so it'd look nice with them out. I'll just attach the full picture .

Very cool, but, I wonder why it's called cloning. Cool that you can take out stuff like that....I've always wanted to be able to take out the backgrounds in a lot of pictures....

In Paintshop and other programs, there's a tool called a cloning tool. What it does is you right click on a piece of background, then click in another spot and it puts that background over whatever is there. For example, I'd right click a piece of Tommy's fur, then try to clone that over the leash to make it look like the leash was never there. Depending on what you're trying to "clone," it can be tricky to do it so that it looks and flows naturally. I usually don't take the time and effort to really work with it although I have cloned out slime on Tommy's muzzle before from when he's really been drooling and it flipped around over his nose and shows up in the photo . Hope that sort of explains it

I didn't know what you were talking about until I read a little. You can also do that with PSP. Is it easier with Photoshop? You did a good job!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
