Attention Seeking Puppy

To get my attention my puppy whines and jumps, if I ignore her she starts to tug on my pants, and of course that gets my attention because I don't want her tearing my clothes. So what do I do?

Don't give her attention, plain and simple. If she starts tugging on your clothing, do not make eye contact or say anything, but simply correct her, and then ignore her. If she keeps it up, don't make eye contact or say anything but instead crate her

In what way should I correct her? I tell her "no" and push her away from me. It works for about a couple of minutes and then she's back at it.

Busy the pup with other toys. Maybe send her to retrieve a ball or
something. Give her a good chew toy.

Kongs are good if you stuff them with something like yogurt or peanut butter, or PB&yogurt mixed together and pop it in the freezer Jamie was at hers for hours!
