    Wiling the day away...pics...

Daisy came by for a visit, a run and wrestling match today.

First she tagged along on a run. I had a customer today. I thought it was brutal--snow conditions suck. Tourist thought it was amazing and I guess that's what counts. He was amused by Daisy running along with us too!

Came home to discover the dogs think this should be a self feeding operation. I had meat thawing in the shop for them. They somehow got the door open (thank God Kayleigh was in her pen and not in the shop). They opened two bags of meat and fed themselves. By some miracle there was no fighting! Dinner this evening was a little light for those dogs who were loose in the yard at the time!

Daisy joined us for the afternoon and set about doing what she does best, playing!

Let's wrestle Heyoka! He's amazing with her. He can fit her entire head in his mouth and could easily hurt her(or any of the other dogs), but he has amazing doggy manners!

Antare was lurking off to the side. He wanted to play too!

You can see him in the background, sneaking in closer.

    More coming....

And there he goes, jumping into the middle of the chaos.

I love how vicious Daisy looks in this one. Such a sweet girl normally, but she's a maniac when she plays!

Heyoka's had all he can take. He's all tuckered out.

Daisy sitting pretty. I had just told her she was causing a "ruckus". She knows that word and knows that if she causes too big of a ruckus she has to go to her own home! She stayed until after dinner tonight, but is back at her own house now.

And that's how we spent our day.

I think it's so neat that Daisy comes over when she wants to play and see the other dogs. Those are great pics of them all playing.

Wow!! I can't help but smile at the antics of these dogs. How they broke in and got the meat but no fights broke out. Amazing! They're just a happy, well adjusted, group aren't they? It looks like the snow has fallen by the ton but you still feel it's inadequate Glacier? It looks awesome. Love the pictures. All the dogs are so beautiful and just a bunch of fun loving scamps. Daisy, you're such a sweetheart big girl!

Great photos Glacier . It looks like everyone had a blast. And that is great to hear that no fights broke out when the dogs fed them selves, wonderful.

That sure looked like a lot of fun! It is so nice that your dogs, especially Heyoka, are so good with Daisy. She really does love being at Camp Glacier. Heyoka looks not only tired out, but rather pleased with himself in that picture.
I am pretty sure that I have told you this before, but I am particularly taken with Antare, I think he is one of the cutest/best looking boys I have seen.

It looks like a lot of snow, but it's deceiving. Most of it is frost on the trees and stuff. There was a few flakes of fresh stuff this week, but it was a tease! There is enough for the sled to slide, but not enough to stop a team. I only took the sled out yesterday because I had a tour booked and I figured with a full grown man in the sled I could stop if I had to! Fortunately, we never had to find out!

I agree, that's great there weren't any fights. Maybe they figured they'd be a lot more likely to get caught if they did that, so they decided to just cooperate with each other quietly. They are such beautiful dogs. They always look right in their element in all that snow.
