    Dobies.....

I have been really fascinated with Dobies for about a week and have fallen in love. Sadly, my mom doesn't go for that. No matter what method I try. I wanted to know your opinion on cropping and docking. I like natural ears and tails. What do you think?

    I didn't vote

Dobermans have always been a favorite of mine but Mark's never cared for them or otherwise we'd have one right now They are a very sweet and lovable breed.

I honestly think if I had one I wouldn't do the docking although I do love the look of it.

My mom is the same. She thinks they're to big. But I am going to try and get one. I fell in love with one on petfinder.

This has been discussed many times. A lot of people are for cropping/docking, a lot are against.

Personally, I prefer all dogs with their natural body parts.

I think they are beautiful dogs reguardless of how their ears/tails are. But I don't think it's right to cut of parts of an animal simply because you prefer the look. Like Kay said the subject has been argued enough though.

Personally, I'm neither against or for docking and cropping. I prefer the appearance of all natural Dobes though. This entire topic has been posted over and over again though, I'm sure if you do a search tons of these threads will come up. Alyssa, have you done a lot of research on the breed? If not, I suggest you do so as they're certainly not a breed for everyone and they can come with quite a few health issues......
