Maggie

Maggie, your family is right what a special girl you are. It's nice to hear that you are so protective of your family and I know they appreciate that from you. I would love to see all the tricks that you can do, like sit up, lay down, and especially the one where they put the treat on your nose and you flip it up and catch it.
Anyone can tell that you are much loved and I can see why.
Congratulations dear, sweet, beautiful Maggie our Very Best Dog of the Day. I'm sure your family will give you some extra special treats on your extra special day.

Dear Maggie, aren't you a happy looking pup? I sure would love to be on your "good" side so I could enjoy some of those special kisses of yours. How clever you are doing all of those various tricks. Keep protecting your family as it is clear they love you to pieces. Congratulations on being our very clever and special Dog of the Day!

Safe?!?

Dear Maggie's Family,

I must say that I would not feel too "safe" with a dog that bites people she does not know! Even if your dog is not big or of a typical "attack" breed, this is not good behavior. Sorry to be so negative, but I would worry that Maggie could get herself and/or you in trouble someday by hurting a guest to your home. A family dog must be taught to trust the family's judgement about who to allow in the home. Biting someone who climbs over the back fence or pries open a window in the night is one thing - biting someone who comes invited through the front door is quite another!!

You're adorable!

Hi beautiful Maggie girl! I am so impressed with your array of "tricks." Aren't you a smart pup! And such a cutie pie!! No wonder your family "loves you to pieces!!" My Cody is very protective of me when strangers enter the house too. But after a proper introduction, like you, she is all hugs and kisses! Oh, how well you've performed your "magic" today dear Maggie! You've cast a spell over me, and I'm in love! Congratulations to you dear Maggie, our beautiful, devoted and loving Dog of the Day!! Hugs and kisses to you cutie!

Oh, Maggie (I love your name) aren't you a pretty dogger? I can see that you have won your family's hearts and now you are on to steal hearts from all over the world. And as if being pretty weren't enough, you are one smart pupper as well. You have learned one of my very, very favorite tricks...the flip the bisquit from your nose one. And being a protective pup, you have shown that you are an all around dog. So enjoy your day pretty girl and enjoy all the adulation for being the much recognized, most appreciated dog in all dogdom today and forever after. Congrats to Maggie, our Dog of the Day.

Maggie, we know all about those "sensitive ones" who are a bit frightened of strangers. We have one in the form of a Golden Retriever. It sounds like your family knows your "scary" moments and handles them quite well to me!! That's what I do. I just keep my Honey away when new people are here. No need to upset her, just like there is no need to upset you!!

I think you are darling!! And a beautiful girl!! Perfect as our Monday, Pet of the Day!!!
