how old are bitches when they finish having a season/heat? if it depends on the size/breed of the dog, she is a cavalier king charles spaniel. Many thanks in advance

Usually around 6 months old the dog will have her first heat. Sometimes later, sometimes earlier

Thank you for your reply, sorry i meant how old are they when they have their last show? someone told me they go on until they pass away, but i didnt think sounded right.
