    Italy pix. :)

    Went to Italy to visit with my folks the last 2 weeks of December.

    My dad with his new horse.



    My brothers.... thinking that they are hot.



    My dogs... in Italy:
    Shelly, poodle mix 14 1/2 yrs old. and Ciccia Corgi mix, 4 years old.




    The Vesuvius... is the volcano that erupted and cover the city of Pompei.
    You can see it from my moms house.




    Ischia, an beautiful Italian Island located in the gulf of Naples can also be seen from my folks house.

    Sorrento is a city on the other side of the gulf of Naples that was created from the action of a bradisism. That is, the elevation of the level of land. It was pushed UP may feet.

    A Presepe.... is a very elaborate Nativity scene.

    And of course, on our way to Rome airport (to leave for Munich), we HAD to stop at the Hard Rock Cafe in Rome for a meal and a souvaneer glass.... I have too many.

    You pronounce it: CHEE CHAA
    It means fat meatball in Italian.
