Do you get holiday vacation?

How much time do you get off from work/school for xmas?

I really only get 2 days off

But assuming I can get someone to work tuesday, then I will have 5 days off (*hopes*)

About two and a half weeks off school for me. It's best in summer, we get 8 weeks off, most other schools only get six!

Yep! Three weeks.

We go back on January 7th.

Most of that vacation time will be spent doing homework, though, I've got loads of it.

I never work the weekend so I don't know if I'd count that or not, but we are getting out early today (within the next couple hours) and we have all day Monday off.

I work at a bar/hotel thingie..so we're never open Sunday, and we're closed Monday...We close at 5 on Saturday.

I have the weekend off, as I always do, and Monday off as my paid holiday. A three day weekend - woohoo!

We are closing early today and then are closed til Wednesday. Most of my co-workers are off til January 2, but since I don't have kids I volunteered to work next week. I have the entire month of February off so it's no big deal! I wish was able to go see my family right now, but thanks to a very generous Christmas gift from my Dad, I might be able to in February!

I work for the Marriott, so open 24/7 . But I take lots of time off all year, since I've worked there 25 years. I have a month off now, well 27 days. And good thing too, since the dogs got the rat bait, I can stay home and keep and eye on them. Tom works for a school dist. and is taking a 17 day vacation. Then in Sept when school starts we take another 2 or 3 wks off. He has every holiday off so I take them off too. But no matter how long you have off, it's never enough !!!

you only get 8 weeks off for summer vacation?!??!?! We get AT LEAST 12

from May 21 - September 1st!!

We get about 2 weeks off of school for vacation. .

I always have weekends off, so I get 2 three day weekends...we get the day after Christmas and the Day after New Year's. I sent an email to a client in new Zealand yesterday, and got a response that were closed from the Holidays from Dec. 23 until Jan 16 for the Holidays...I want to go work there!!!
