John Spencer dies...

John Spencer, known for his role as Tommy Mullaney on L.A. Law and on West Wing, died of a heart attack at the age of 58.

This man was my mentor. I have his picture on my fridge. Why? Because he has been my "unofficial" AA sponsor since L.A. Law. You see, John Spencer was a recovering alcoholic, just like me. He was very open about it and that's why I admired him immensely.

RIP dude. Save a seat for me at the RB tavern!!

Now I think I'm through with the west wing he was the only reason I kept watching it.

I was very saddened to hear of his untimely passing. I loved him on West Wing.

I was sad when I heard this, too. I'm a West Wing fan and knowing that they had his character suffer a heart attack, just last year, is almost eerie to me now. I wonder how they will handle this in upcoming episodes.
