Hi Par! I can't wait to see the "non-rejects" . These are great! I got a kick out of them. You know I think this is one of my favorites ever of the Murph man, great photo!

I'd be happy to see any one of those pictures when I opened an envelope. I really like the last picture in the second post. Now there are three very handsome, festive boys.

    Hey everybody!

Thanks for the compliments! It's not so much that I think the pics of the dogs themselves came out bad. It's more that the background doesn't look christmasy. It was 80 degrees and sunshiny, when I took those early this week and with the green grass, that just really doesn't say X-mas. I also want all 3 dogs in the pic together and the Murph Man just doesn't do "Stay", hence the purple ottoman, which I realized later really sticks out like a sore thumb.

Those are indeed socks, Robilee. I went to Walmart to scope out the bandanas and couldn't find anything I liked, then happened to walk by these X-mas socks. Decided that tucked into the dog's collars, they might appear scarf like. I thought the sayings were rather appropriate too. Oz's says "Santa's Lil' Helper", Gull's is "Naughty, Nice" and Murph's is "Beary Christmas".

I do have a plan for how to get Murph to stay in his spot for the next picture taking try, but I'm still waiting for the prop to be mailed to me. Sure hope it gets here in time. I think it's a cute idea, so don't want to give it away, until I can make it work.

Good thinking with the socks!!! I bet my pups would tolerate that more so that the antlers I always try to stick on their heads!
I agree with everyone, if those are the bad ones... I can't wait to see the good ones!

    Thanks everybody!!

hiya pitc9! The socks worked out very well. Since they're just tucked inside their collars, the dogs didn't even act like they knew they were there. Well except Murph, he kept tripping over his.

It's back to being warm again today, 70s. Yeah! I was running around in shorts and t-shirt throwing the frisbee for the dogs and was sweating by the time we were done. You guys with all the snow. No thanks! I'm a warm weather gal. I just wanna make my X-mas card picture look cold, snowy and x-masy, without it actually being that way.
