    Sweetness...pics...

    This is Antare:

Antare is one of my timids. He's come a long way, but he's still extremely timid. He usually lives with Raven, Deuce and Mac, but Deuce was picking on him over the weekend. Antare is an easy target. Antare spent the weekend in the main yard and in the house. This morning he went back into his pen and was happily playing with Deuce when I left. They just needed a break from each other. Antare can't stay in the main yard when no one is home as he picks on a couple other submissive dogs....it's a constant challenge to balance the personalities around here!

Antare is afraid of most people, but he loves other dogs. In the house, he's quite nervous and moves every time I do. He rarely lays down and relaxes. Sleet rarely moves, she's always relaxed. Antare was feeding off her calm energy on Sunday night...

How freaking cute are they??? I almost melted when I saw this little scene!

That is so cute. Dogs are wonderful...simple, but, complicated. What a life you've given to your dogs...and, they to you.

That second pic is just too cute. I'm glad he can relax a little bit. It's sad that he's been damaged so badly that he's jumpy all the time. That is a great pic. There are so many of yours that I like. I wish I could come up there with my camera and an empty card. I'd have so much fun filling it up with them all.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

How freaking cute is RIGHT!!!!! OMG my eyes started to get leaky!!
My Buddy acts exactly the way you described Antare when he's in the house! But if it's just me in the house (no hubby around) Buddy's 100% fine.

What a beautiful moment! I loved your story behind it even more...it's inspiring to hear about your dogs - you know them so well, and they are so loved.

Glacier, you never cease to amaze me at how well you know each and every dog and it's personality, quirks, likes and dislikes. The constant juggling with the sledding and even living arangements is amazing.

I got a warm fuzzy feeling looking at the pic of Antare and Sleet. That was too sweet.
