Daphne's fun winter day *7 pics*

It snowed last night! The first real snowfall of the season, and Daphne made the most of it. This morning we set up our christmas tree. We got the decorations out, and of course I tortured the poor girl with her antlers. ^_^




Then her friend came over to play! (neighbor's dog) Her name is Lily (or Lilly... I don't know how it's spelled ), and she's a boxer/pit mix. Isn't she adorable?













We also went for a walk through the woods, but we didn't bring the camera, so I don't have pictures. It was a fun day.

Thanks! Sadly, no, I don't trust letting her off in the yard. Daphne was hit by a car a couple years ago. We got an invisible fence here, but she didn't mind going through it after a while, so now we use the tie out.

It's weird though, because when we go hiking or to the beach I can let her off with no problem. She stays near by, and if she gets too far ahead I don't even have to call her back, she doubles back to us on her own. But it's not by a road.

poor daphne she couldn't run around, wish she'd know what cars are!! glad she's okay and that lil(l)y could come by, play with her!
